Sales Tax

Orders shipped to California will be charged sales tax. All other orders will not incur sales tax. If you are a company that is purchasing for resale only, have a legitimate tax certificate, and do not want to be charged sales tax, you must first contact us before placing your order. We will request, among other things, a faxed copy of your Resale Certificate. Upon approval, we will then set you up in our system for automatic sales tax exemption.



Shipping & Delivery

At Lamps By Us, we make every effort to ship your order as quickly as possible. Because we ship from various distribution centers, we ask that you allow 7-10 business days for delivery of your order. Please allow up to 2 weeks total for complete delivery of your order. As much as we would like to, we cannot guarantee an exact shipping date.



Shipping Methods & Rates

All orders are shipped via UPS Ground to the lower 48 contiguous United States. Shipping rates are calculated based on the total amount of your order. Please See the following chart for our Ground Rates. We do not ship orders C.O.D. Sorry, but we do not ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. At this time, we can only accept orders that originate from and are shipped to the United States only.

All products sold by Lamps By Us are backed up by a manufacturer’s warranty. The length of warranty depends on the product and manufacturer. Please consult a customer service representative for more information and assistance in processing your claim.



Returns & Exchanges

Your satisfaction is guaranteed! At Lamps By Us, we stand behind all the products we sell, and we offer our customers a no-hassle return and exchange policy. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return a product within 90 days of receiving it. Lamps By Us will promptly refund your money for the items returned (less any shipping costs). Please follow these instructions:

  1. Returns cannot be accepted beyond the first 90 days from the date of receiving your order.
  2. Clearance items are sold as is, are final sales, and are not subject to return, except for damaged or defective goods.
  3. Products eligible for return must be new, unused, unaltered, and contain all original packaging and accessories. Products must be repackaged properly in the original packaging. Products not received in original condition and/or packaging will forfeit any refunds.
  4. You must contact us to receive a Return Merchandise Number (RMA) prior to returning the product. Returned products will not be accepted without a Return Merchandise Number.
  5. Mark your Return Merchandise Number on your original packing slip and include your packing slip with your return.
  6. Mark your Return Merchandise Number on a blank piece of paper and secure it to the outside of the package that you are returning. If your return includes more than one individual package, please make sure that each package has the piece of paper with the Returned Merchandise Number affixed to it.
  7. Returns must be shipped prepaid and insured directly to Lamps By Us. If the return or exchange is due to our error, we will pay for the cost of shipping. Please contact us for return authorization and further instructions.

All returns must be shipped to our Inglewood, CA address only.

In order for the proper amount to be credited to your credit card, all returns must be made within 90 days from receiving your order. The amount for the return will be credited only to the credit card that was originally used for the order. We make a special effort to process your return or exchange as quickly as possible, however please allow up to 2 weeks for your transaction to be completed. Please allow up to 2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.



Cancellations & Changes

Your order may be canceled for a full refund given it has not already shipped. Please contact us to cancel your order. Although we go out of our way to ship as quickly as possible, we will make every attempt to cancel your order. If, however, your order has already shipped, please do not refuse the order, as this will result in additional cancellation fees. After receiving your order, you will need to follow our Return Policy and Instructions.



Damaged Merchandise

As soon as you receive your order, please check the merchandise for any damage. If you received any damaged merchandise, we will replace it as soon as possible. Please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the order for instructions, and please keep all original boxes and packing material.



Out Of Stock Items

If we are out of stock on an item that you ordered, we will send you an email update as quickly as possible. You can then choose to cancel the item or keep it on backorder. We will keep you updated via email on the status of the backordered item, as well as when it ships.
